Choc-cherry, alpine herbs, dusty spice, liquorice, white pepper, a touch of beetroot, faint game meat too. Palate and bouquet marry on this. Soft texture, a little lift of mint and eucalyptus in there but the general mellow sense of the variety is all there. Seductive, pleasing, easy to get into. Just a charmer. And so comfortable in its maturity and effortless drinking.
